Another resource for photographs: Flickr's Creative Commons images. Although businesses will be limited to the attribution, no derivatives and share alike licenses, there are some incredibly rich images. Also, be sure to include a credit line when necessary.

Hi Paula,
Thanks for the NYC details. Minor correction though - the presentation on Tuesday is taking place at Columbia University's Uris Hall, not at NYU. I'm looking forward to it!

Warm regards,

Hi Nancy,

Just to follow Laurie and Mark's line of questioning - would it be possible to have the event details for your Columbia visit (date, time, location)? I'm hoping I didn't miss my chance while you're in town.
Best wishes,
Rich

Hi Laura,
I'm THRILLED you won. Everyone I know voted for you! I adore what you've done for Mountain View and am glad you were a good sport about my posting.

Hi Nancy, thanks for your comments. Campaigns in Mountain View are mostly volunteer affairs and very low budget. My campaign team and I had fun with the signs but I know you are right about a number of "errors". Well, I did win and get the most votes of all nine candidates, so luckily maybe many voters remembered my experience and parks/open space/trails advocacy and not my signs. Take care, Laura

Hi Nancy,
I ditto Mark's query. Would love to attend your Columbia talk, if possible. Wasn't sure of the date, though.
Cheers, Laurie

Hi Mark,
YES, public is welcome. It's a group of about 25 Columbia students but they'd said I could invite folks via blog and Twitter. It'd be great meet you!

hi!
My blog is in French but I am about designing one in english. I just wanted to sign in and participate.
I'd love to share some slides I made for my presentation skills class to the MBA's last year.
Can I post PPT?
The idea is this: I absolutely adore the Presentation Zen beautiful book of your friend Garr (well, i assume he is , because he's marketing you pretty well in his book, website, blog etc...). It is NOT known at all (yet) in France and I'd love to promote it here in Europe, give conferences about it, use it in my seminars. What do you think of this idea?
And I figure out what to choose to be posted (afraid of critics!!!)
